POLISH - Polish should not be applied to the surfaces, since it can be lead to smearing and marking particularly on horizontal surfaces.

SCRATCHING - Scraping with sharp edges should be avoided and objects with rough or uneven bases can cause scratches if allowed to slide across the surface. Food should not chop on a working surface; use of a chopping board will prevent permanent damage.

HEAT - Although laminates are tested to a temperature of 180 degree care should be taken to avoid prolonged exposure to high temperature. Objects such as oven hot pans and dishes should not be taken from direct heat and placed directly on the laminate. Burning cigarettes should never be left on the surface. This information will assist in ensuring that surfaces faced with polyrey high pressure decorative laminate will give good service for many years.

a). Storage conditions – A primary consideration of the fabricator should be the proper storage and conditioning of component materials. Both the laminate and the substrate should be conditioned for a minimum of 48 hours at a temperature between 21degree to 24 degree c and relatively humidity of 45 to 55 % prior to bonding.

b). Control of the glue line – Control of the glue line is another consideration, and the thickness and uniformity of spread should be given constant attention.

c). Adhesive – Specific conditions are recommended by each adhesive manufacturer and these conditions should be followed:
Contact – contact adhesive are widely used in the laminate industry.Contact adhesives can be applied by brush, roller, hand spray or automated spray.
The substrate and laminate should be uniformly coated over the entire area where bonding contact will be made.
